Term 2 Award Celebration (Mar. 13)
The grade 6 team will be recognizing a number of students during period 7 in the areas of academics, character, citizenship and creativity.
End of Term 2 (Mar. 15)
Teachers must submit their marks for report cards by Mar. 19, after which there cannot be any changes to grades in term 2. Therefore, any outstanding assignments must be submitted no later than Mar. 15th if students which to receive credit! Students will be getting a new schedule on Thursday which will be in effect starting Monday. They will also begin a new option and exploratory at this time!
PD DAY - NO SCHOOL (Mar. 16)
No school for students today, have a great weekend!
Term 2 Report Cards (Mar. 26)
Students will not receive paper copies of their report card. Instead, parents are encouraged to stay up to date on their child's marks via PowerSchool. Should you have any questions/concerns please contact the homeroom teacher directly through phone or email! Honour roll is an overall average of 85% or higher.
Honour Roll Ice Cream Sundae Party (Mar. 27)
Congratulations to the following students in 6A & 6B who made the honour roll in Term 2! We will be having an ice cream sundae party during the lunch hour to recognize your hard work and achievement.
Easter Break - No School (Mar. 30 - Apr. 8)
No School for students, enjoy spring break!

Parent - Teacher Interviews (Feb. 8 & 9)
We encourage you to sign up for parent-teacher interviews to discuss your child's academic progress. Thursday interviews begin after school at 4pm - 8pm and there is NO SCHOOL on Friday with interviews happening 8am-12pm
Family Break (Feb. 19 - 23)
Due to Family Day and Teacher's Convention, students will have NO SCHOOL this week! Have a fun and safe break!
Pink Shirt Day (Feb. 28)
Stand up against bullying and wear a pink shirt to school today!
Badminton Tryouts (Feb. 26 - Mar. 1)
Badminton season is about to begin! Good luck to all students who attend the ID camps! Grade 6 tryouts are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2:45-4:00!

Term 2B Begins & Literacy Assessment (Jan. 22)
Students have finished their literacy exploratory option and will have a new period 5 class. Literacy Report Cards will also be sent home for parents to view their child's progress in this class. Please continue to check PowerSchool for up to date grades.

Basketball Pep Rally (Dec. 1)
Students will participate in a PEP rally to celebrate the basketball teams and their first Tip-Off Classic!

Congratulations to the students in 6A & 6B who made the honour roll in term 1!! We will be having a pizza party during the lunch hour on Wednesday, Dec. 7th to recognize your hard work and achievement.

Agora Day (Dec. 22)
Every year the grade 6 students get to participate in a "marketmall" that has been named - Agora Day - in tribute to our social studies unit on Ancient Athens. Each student is responsible for coming up with a shop idea - and will be selling a product/service in exchange for Wilson Bucks. A business plan overview is attached below, which all students must fill out and return to their homeroom teacher.
CHRISTMAS BREAK (Dec. 23 - Jan. 7)
We would like to wish all of our students and their families a safe and relaxing Christmas break! Enjoy the holidays and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year!
